What data is used, how it is obtained, and what the licence permits.
Source register
Every source in use is recorded with its licensor, term, permitted use, redistribution rights, attribution requirement and renewal date, together with the product surfaces it feeds. The register is reviewed quarterly.
Where a licence lapses, the dependent figures stop rendering. This is enforced by the data layer rather than by a manual process.
What is not used
The Publisher does not scrape protected platforms indiscriminately, does not purchase personal data, does not use individual-level location data, and does not circumvent the terms of any platform. Material obtained in those ways is excluded from the platform irrespective of its analytical value.
Attribution
Where a licence requires attribution, the attribution is a condition of use rather than a matter of presentation, and it is carried in the footer and on this page. Where no external dataset is in use, no attribution is shown.
